Temperatures
The average maximum temperature during April 2026 in Malaga was 21.7 Celsius (71F), and that was 0.6 Celsius (>1F) above normal for the time of year. The average minimum temperature was 14.0 Celsius (57F), and that was 0.2 Celsius (<0.5F) above average for April.

A further 4 days had maxima above 24 Celsius (75F), including highs of 24.7 Celsius (76F) on both the 16th and 20th. On most other days (18), highs ranged from 20 to 24 Celsius (68-75F), with 12 of those days having maxima between 20 and 22 Celsius (68-72F). There were 6 days with lower maxima, and 3 of these cooler days occurred during the first week of April. Only 2 days had highs below 19 Celsius (66F). Rain

Although the morning of the 8th started dry, for much of the day there was rain, heavy at times, leading to a total of 29.8 millimetres (1.17 ins.). A little rain occurred on each of the following 3 days, but daily falls did not exceed 0.2 millimetres (0.01 ins.). It then remained dry until the 24th. Rain on the 24th was mostly light, with 1.6 millimetres (0.06 ins.) measured. The rain continued overnight, and after a dry morning, a little rain fell during the afternoon of the 25th. Thunder was heard on 2 days during April. There was a storm late in the evening on the 7th, with a distant thunderstorm later in the evening on the 10th.

Wind
Winds during April were predominantly from the northwest, but on about a third of the days, east to southeasterly winds from the sea were dominant, and during the last week of April, there were 3 days when brisk south to southwesterly winds occurred during the afternoons. Winds were mainly gentle or moderate in strength, with only 4 days when gusts exceeded 20 knots (23 mph). The second week of the month was the windiest period, with gusts exceeding 20 knots (23 mph) on 3 days. However, the highest gust for the month was only 23 knots (26 mph). This occurred on the 13th.
