After a spell of lighter winds, albeit these mostly blowing from the cold sea, another ‘levanter’ developed on the 21st. It was unusually persistent and often accompanied by cloudy skies. On each day between the 22nd and 29th winds gusted to 20 knots (23 mph) or more.
