Dry and unusually Windy

Temperatures

The average maximum temperature during November 2019 in Malaga was 19.6 Celsius (67F), and that was  normal for the time of year.  The average minimum temperature was 13.5 Celsius (56F), and that was 0.8 Celsius (1.5F) above normal for November.
The highest temperature recorded during the month was  26.8 Celsius (80F) on the 1st, but the second warmest day was the 3rd with only 24.1 Celsius (75F). However, there were 7 other days when the temperature reached, or exceeded, 22 Celsius (72F), including 5 consecutive days commencing on the 25th. There were only 4 other days with maxima above 20 Celsius (68F), in fact, the middle of the month was often quite cool. There were 11 days when the temperature failed to reach 18 Celsius (64F), with all of these cooler days occurring between the 8th and 24th. On 3 days the temperature remained below 15 Celsius (59F). On the 15th and 21st maxima were 14.6 Celsius (59F) and 14.4 Celsius (58F) respectively, but the coolest day of the month was the 20th with a high of 13.4 Celsius (56F).
There were several warm nights during November, and the minimum of 22.1 Celsius (72F) on the 1st was the highest since records began in 2005. It was also higher than any minimum temperature recorded in either June or October. The temperature fell to 18.8 Celsius (66F) on the following night, the second warmest night of the month, and there were 6 other nights with minima above 15 Celsius (59F). Only 1 of these warmer nights occurred after the 13th, and that was the 26th when a low of 16.1 Celsius (61F) was measured. There were some cool nights during the third week, and on 4 nights, all between the 16th and 20th, the temperature fell below 10 Celsius (50F). The coolest night was the 16th with a minimum of 7.6 Celsius (46F),  closely followed by the 17th with a low of 7.9 Celsius (46F).
The sea temperature was 16 Celsius (61F) at first, soon falling to 14 or 15 Celsius (57-59F), where it stayed for the remainder of the month. This was 2 or 3 Celsius (3-5F) colder than at the same time last year.

Rain

There were  28.8  millimetres (1.1 ins.) of rain during November, and that was only 34% of the monthly average. It was the driest November for 6 years.  Measurable rain fell on 6 days, and that’s 2 days below the average. The first 4 days of the month were dry, but a little overnight rain gave 0.5 millimetres (0.02 ins.) on the 5th. Afternoon rain produced over 4 millimetres (0.15 ins.) on the 7th, but that was followed by 6 days of dry weather. Showery rain during the afternoon amounted to 0.8 millimetres (0.03 ins.) on the 14th, with a similar amount falling on the afternoon of the 20th. Rain occurred for much of the day on the 21st but only amounted to 5.8 millimetres (0.2 ins.). On the following day the rain was heavier, especially during the morning, but the total of 17.0 millimetres (0.7 ins.) proved to be the last rain of the month.

Thunder

There was no thunder heard in West Malaga during November.

Wind

November was one of the most persistently breezy months since records began in 2005. Apart from the 21st, when easterly breezes blew, and the 22nd when the wind was mainly from the SW, the northwesterly land breeze dominated both day and night. Gusts exceeded 20 knots on 11 days, although the 10th, with a gust of 34 knots (39 mph), was the only day when the wind exceeded 30 knots (34 mph). There were only 5 days when gusts were under 15 knots (17 mph) with all of these less breezy days occurring after mid month.

Fog

There was no fog observed in this part of Malaga during November.
